Ravensbourne National Park

Piccabeen palms, ferns, elkhorns and fungi thrive in the cool, moist remnants of rainforest and wet eucalypt forest along the edge of the Great Dividing Range. Stop for a picnic in one of the day-use areas before heading off to explore the network of tracks that wind through the park. Wander through a diverse and vibrant forest, and listen out for the more than 80 bird species found here. Make sure you stop at the Gus Beutel lookout for panoramic views over the Lockyer Valley and Scenic Rim.
