Established on December 3, 1913, the King’s Hotel was originally built by John King who established Maidenwell township. The hotel was named for the first well he dug in the area. The Maidenwell Hotel remains popular with locals as well as tourists and travellers to the local Coomba Falls and Bunya Mountains National Park. All the usual pub fare is on offer – steak, fish, chicken, burgers, and their iconic must-do Pig-on-the-spit every month.
